Varisect belts, also known as variable speed belts are designed for variable speed transmissions, to obtain a wide range of driven speeds. They consist of high modulus cords which reduce fatigue and shock resulting in minimum belt stretch whilst maintaining excellent stability. Precision moulded cogs provide more surface area to aid heat dissipation and increase flexibility. The raw edge sidewalls improve the gripping contact with the pulley sidewalls, thus ensuring less vibration and a smoother, quieter performance.
The fabric tension section of these belts stretch up to 175% more than ordinary bias-cut fabric ones, which significantly improve the flex life of the belt. 37x10x1320 Megadyne
Varisect Belt also have a special compound compression section which provides uniform cord support and cross-wise rigidity further lengthening belt life.
